What should I expect when I attend?
At FLAG you should find:
- A friendly welcome, a clean facility, and something warm to drink. (free)
- Awesome children’s ministry and a safe, secure nursery
- People just like you with problems, issues, and struggles
- Quality contemporary music and an understandable, life-relevant message
- A specific request that guests not contribute in the offering (seriously)
- A perfect place for imperfect people
What should I wear?
We encourage clothing!
Seriously, we have a casual and friendly atmosphere at FLAG. God is more concerned about hearts than the latest fashions. Most people are dressed casually in jeans.
What about my children?
On Sundays there are separate staffed nurseries for infants and toddlers (0-4) during all three services. Nursery Coordinator Misty Navaratnam and her team do an excellent job of care and planting the seed of Christ into their hearts.
On Wednesdays at 7:00 pm a discipleship program called Rainbows is available for ages 3-5. Childcare is offered for ages 0-35 months.
FUSION Children’s Church meets during the Sunday 9:00 and 10:45 services. Our FUSION kids pastor Marissa Sipes and her staff jam pack the service time leaving most kids wishing it were longer! Boring a kid with the great news of God’s plan for our lives should be a sin!
On Wednesdays separate discipleship programs for boys and girls are available and meet in the KidZone behind our main building.
Youth Pastor Eli Lindsey leads the growing Empowered Youth at FLAG! They meets every Wednesday at 7:00 pm for a powerful time of worship, teaching, games, and friendship. Frequent activities add to the opportunities your teenager will have to build solid relationships with God and each other.
On Sundays ages 12-18 join with the adults, usually sitting in a group near the front.
What is the atmosphere like?
Open. Authentic. Real.
If you haven’t been to a church in years, or attended one last Sunday, we strive to make you feel at ease.
You will be greeted warmly, but need not fear being hugged by 7 people you have never met!
What is the music like?
Music at church should encourage people to participate, not lull them to sleep. Expect live modern worship music with a full band. We sing mainly newer songs with a sprinkling of freshly arranged hymns. Click the video on the right to hear music from a recent service.
The same music is offered at each service.
