Major Life Events! Go KU!

From Pastor Mark's Blog

Sarah and I headed out of town for a much needed break. For her Christmas/Birthday present I committed to taking her to the Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament.
We got a hold of some tickets, and when the seeding was done, KU was going to play on her birthday. Her 4oth Birthday! Woohoo!
The tournament was great fun, especially since she got to see her favorite team win 3 games in 3 days.

Fuel Buy Down - Largest Ever!

From Pastor Mark's Blog

While we were gone, the church did not struggle mightily, but went forward courageously.

We had our largest ever Fuel Buy Down, with over 100 cars. We made the news coverage of 2 TV stations, as well as the front page of the local newspaper and their corresponding web site.

I am so proud of our church and it's staff! It is so great not to be needed!
